80th Reading Scout Group is a traditional Scout group based at Tilehurst Untied Reformed Church off of Armour Road in Reading, Berkshire for boys and girls.

All adults planning on attending family camp or any other 80th activities must be CRB cleared. Click here for more information

80th Reading has Beaver (6-8), Cubs (8-10.5) and Scouts (10.5-14) Sections and there is an Explorer (14-18) group which is run separately but alongside 80th Reading Scouts; overall the group is open to anyone between the age of 6 and 18.

80th Reading is run entirely by volunteers consisting of a team of leaders and assistant leaders who are highly trained by the scout association to work with children.

The group is also supported by the Executive Fundraising Committee which organises group fundraising to keep the group running and ensure that parent subsidisation is kept as low as possible. The committee is also run entirely by volunteers and is always looking for more help.

80th is a member of the Pang Valley Scout District (a local Scout Association authority), Berkshire County Scouts and the UK Scouting Association all of which are registered charities and donations are always appreciated. The 80th Charity number is 306101.

Although the 80th is based in a church hall, there are no religious obligations to members and the group is open to all children of all backgrounds and faiths.
